Our entry requirements ensure that every candidate is well-prepared for the challenges ahead. You must have passed the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations with at least 6 credits including English. Specific programme requirements are detailed below.
1. Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience after obtaining their T2
teaching certificate.
2. Candidates MUST have a T2 teaching certificate.
3. Candidates MUST have MSCE, IGCSE, or O-Level certificate or its equivalent with a minimum of credit passes in six subjects including English
4. Candidates with A-Level certificate or its equivalent obtained in the past five years.
5. Candidates MUST have a minimum of credit passes in the two teaching subjects they are
applying for.
6. Candidates MUST not be more than 50 years old at the time of application.
7. Selection does not imply automatic granting of study leave, for which serving teachers MUST apply in line with guidelines and conditions governing this leave.

3. Must possess MSCE, IGCSE, or O-Level certificate with credit passes in six subjects (including English).
4. Candidates with A-Level (or equivalent) from the past five years.
5. At least credit passes in both teaching subjects applied for.
6. Applicants must be under 50 years of age.
